StackRox achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Container Competency Partner status for its StackRox Kubernetes Security Platform.
StackRox received this designation for its ability to seamlessly integrate with AWS services and provide security and compliance for container and Kubernetes workloads on AWS, such as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS).
Security and compliance is a shared responsibility in cloud deployments, and StackRox helps customers meet their responsibilities of protecting the workloads of their cloud-native applications running on AWS. By leveraging StackRox in AWS environments, businesses can further benefit from running containers and Kubernetes in AWS while maintaining visibility, security, and compliance of their cloud-native applications.
“Achieving AWS Container Competency status is a testament to the power that the StackRox Kubernetes-native architecture delivers to DevOps and security teams that need to protect cloud-native applications on AWS and operationalize security at scale,” said Kamal Shah, CEO, StackRox. “StackRox, in combination with AWS services, helps users achieve security ‘of’ the cloud as well as ‘in’ the cloud, to deliver secure and high-performance cloud applications that bring immense transformational value to their enterprises.”
AWS is enabling scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions from startups to global enterprises. To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Competency Program to help customers identify Consulting and Technology APN Partners with deep industry experience and expertise.
AWS Container Competency Partners have been certified to help AWS customers optimize orchestration and scheduling, infrastructure, application build/test and deployment, as well as monitoring, logging, and security of containers. APN Partners undergo a rigorous technical validation to provide AWS customers with complete confidence in choosing their solution.
