At closing, which is subject to customary conditions, QualiTest and Orasi will also enter into a strategic partnership that will allow for more comprehensive offerings for their respective customers.
The addition of Orasi TSD will significantly expand QualiTest’s presence in the US, particularly in the Southeast and Midwest, and bring a strong customer portfolio including major Tier 1 multinational corporations. Testing services customers of the two firms will now have access to more than 3,000 testers across a geographic footprint that spans the globe. Orasi’s existing customers will be able to leverage an enhanced suite of testing services, while QualiTest customers will enjoy the benefits of world-class testing experts and domain experience in areas such as media, retail, finance and utilities.
Orasi supports its customers across the complete software quality lifecycle by providing market-leading automated testing, application performance intelligence, test data management and coverage, and continuous delivery and integration services. Orasi TSD will be incorporated into QualiTest’s U.S. operations. Orasi will continue to operate its remaining support, reseller, implementation and proprietary software businesses.
“Based on QualiTest’s 20-year history of helping assure the highest possible software quality and minimizing risk, we are confident that QualiTest will only enhance and build upon the excellence our clients have come to appreciate from Orasi,” said Nick Kavadellas, President and CEO of Orasi. “The expert testing team, assets and capabilities we’ve developed within Orasi will continue to thrive as part of the world’s largest pure play software testing company. This strategic combination benefits Orasi, QualiTest, our employees, clients and partners around the globe.”
