January 23, 2025

Idera announced the launch of Sembi, a multi-brand entity created to unify its premier software quality and security solutions under a single umbrella.

Sembi integrates six industry-leading brands — TestRail (Gurock Software), Xray (Xblend), Testmo, Ranorex, Kiuwan, and PreEmptive — offering organizations a comprehensive SaaS solution suite designed to elevate product quality across industries.

“With development cycles accelerating and technologies like AI and automation adding complexity, maintaining quality and security has never been more challenging,” said Randy Jacops, CEO of Idera, Inc. and President of Sembi. “Sembi was created to make quality solutions easier to try, implement, and use. By simplifying access and empowering teams to deploy and manage tools independently, we’re enabling a future where building high-quality software at scale is faster and more achievable than ever.”

Sembi equips DevOps, QA, and security teams with centralized, intuitive tools that address the growing demands of modern development. By simplifying quality management and integrating advanced testing and security capabilities, Sembi enables organizations to deliver reliable, high-performing products faster—empowering teams to thrive in an increasingly complex and fast-paced technology landscape.

Sembi’s approach to product quality management is built on four core principles:

- Ease-of-Use: Deliver immediate value through fast deployment and intuitive tools that drive meaningful results.

- Support: Dedicated support teams to resolve challenges quickly and maximize outcomes.

- Adaptability + Scalability: Drive customer value at every growth stage with software designed to fit the widest breadth of technologies and use cases.

- Reliability: Trusted and dependable tools that ensure critical quality, performance, and security for the world’s leading brands.

“Sembi brings together the best in quality and security,” said Judy Bossi, Vice President of Product Management at Sembi. “By unifying our portfolio under one brand and backing it with world-class customer support, we’re delivering integrated tools that teams can deploy quickly and adapt easily – turning quality and security from roadblocks into accelerators for innovation.”

Sembi will combine the strengths of TestRail, Xray, Testmo, Ranorex, Kiuwan, and PreEmptive to deliver tools that ensure the highest software testing and security standards. Sembi’s priority focus will be following a customer-centric approach to developing better software together, including sizable investments to accelerate product releases and fund a robust M&A platform.
