JFrog announced the availability of JFrog Artifactory on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) via the GCP Marketplace.
JFrog’s hybrid offerings, based on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), now include on-prem support. With this new support, JFrog demonstrates its commitment to freedom of choice, and helps further JFrog’s vision of Liquid Software through continuous update flows across customers’ infrastructure.
JFrog offers a hybrid solution utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) on-prem to support customers’ unique DevOps pipeline business models. GCP offers a public cloud that provides high flexibility and scalability to deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes. GKE on-prem allows developers to take advantage of Kubernetes and cloud technology to run containerized on-prem applications from a customer’s data center.
“Writing software faster is only beneficial when you can deliver it safely and quickly to end users,” says Kit Merker, VP Business Development at JFrog. “Trusted software updates from code to Kubernetes – in the cloud and on the edge – are the key to keeping this runtime we call modern life up to date. Our collaboration with Google Cloud is freeing developers to deliver their applications with speed and security across their hybrid infrastructure.”
JFrog also offers JFrog Cloud Pro X on the GCP Marketplace. With this solution, DevOps and DevSecOps teams can deliver reliable, higher-quality software faster and at a lower cost, while providing confidence in their releases by scanning for security vulnerabilities and open source violations.
JFrog Artifactory Enterprise, also now available on the GCP Marketplace, is ideal for companies that want to take advantage of Kubernetes and GKE on-prem to run containerized, on-prem applications from within their own data center. JFrog Artifactory Enterprise provides stability, scalability and reliability and offers multi-site replication capabilities to support geographically distributed development teams with DR failover, and high-availability with zero downtime.
