CyberArk Launches Kubernetes Application on Google Cloud Platform Marketplace
July 24, 2018

CyberArk announced the availability of CyberArk Conjur as a Kubernetes application in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Marketplace.

The new offering enables organizations using Kubernetes to simplify DevOps secrets management with CyberArk Conjur, and more securely deploy enterprise applications at scale.

“Containers aren’t inherently secure, and with their use proliferating amongst developers, it’s never been more important for IT teams to prioritize and address the security challenges that they introduce,” said Adam Bosnian, EVP, Global Business Development, CyberArk. “The availability of CyberArk Conjur in the Google Cloud Platform Marketplace makes securing these applications easy. CyberArk Conjur introduces a simple approach to container authentication and authorization in runtime, and provides secrets seamlessly to applications.”

CyberArk Conjur is easily deployed with one click to the Google Kubernetes Engine, enabling developers to easily secure and manage secrets – such as SSH/API keys, passwords and certificates – used by application containers. CyberArk Conjur’s integration with Kubernetes seamlessly strengthens container security by leveraging Kubernetes native capabilities. The integrated solution enables enterprises to establish a single control point to manage and rotate credentials based on policy. Furthermore, when integrated with the CyberArk Enterprise Password Vault, consistent security policies can be further extended across the enterprise’s on-premises, cloud and DevOps environments.

"To remain competitive and deliver on user demands, organizations adopting cloud need ready access to trusted, tested and portable applications that can run across their entire infrastructure. At Google Cloud we strive to make it as easy as possible for customers of all sizes to deploy, purchase and manage leading solutions in the cloud," said Jennifer Lin, Director of Product Management, Google Cloud. "The availability of Kubernetes applications from providers like CyberArk is a critical part of extending enterprise investments and can simplify adoption of container-based infrastructure no matter what environment they operate in, either on-premises or in the public cloud.”

GCP Marketplace is based on a multi-cloud and hybrid-first philosophy, focused on giving Google Cloud partners and enterprise customers flexibility without lock-in. It also helps customers innovate by easily adopting new technologies from partners, such as commercial Kubernetes applications, and allows companies to oversee the full lifecycle of a solution, from discovery through management.
