Demisto and tCell Partner on Security Orchestration for Web Apps and DevSecOps
October 19, 2017

Demisto and tCell.io announced an integration partnership. Together, the companies deliver a comprehensive security solution for web applications with heightened detection, visibility and remediation capabilities that help teams accelerate response to web application vulnerabilities.

By extending security orchestration to web application security, all interested parties – including developers and security teams – are more effective in their mission to improve their security posture.

With the interoperability gap closed within DevSecOps, organizations have an increased visibility into the application and context of which attacks are happening. Customers can now protect their web applications and API services by quickly remediating and blocking these bad actors and actions in real-time. With Demisto, users can design and deploy custom security rulesets based on the rich data provided by tCell’s RASP solution.

“The integration with tCell is unique as it allows Demisto to expand its orchestration capabilities to best improve a company’s web application security layer,” said Rishi Bhargava, Demisto co-founder. “Security orchestration can now benefit more than just security teams. This integration helps expand orchestration for all interested parties in application development teams.”

“Our partnership with Demisto helps our customers improve their use of tCell to respond to escalating web-based attacks – eliminating days, even months, of manual tasks,” said Michael Feiertag, CEO, tCell.

Demisto Enterprise integrates with more than 140 security products and enables customers to build playbooks for different security operations. These playbooks can include automation tasks or best practice steps to be followed in case of a security incident. Demisto’s playbooks help reduce MTTR (Mean Time to Response) for security incidents. In addition, the case management and machine learning capabilities help security teams save resources and time while enforcing rigor and process to incident response.

With its broad array of sensors, coupled with its powerful cloud analytics platform, tCell provides the most comprehensive solution for production web application security. Sensors in the app server, web server and browser give visibility into attacks and breaches as they happen. tCell’s cloud analytics platform augments this information with threat intelligence feeds, tCell’s security research, and custom policies to generates actionable insight. tCell provides actionable data that empowers security professionals to isolate and identify active attackers, separate breaches from attack attempts, and create and enforce active protection policies to better protect their applications
