PacketZoom Joins the Vendor Forum

Shlomi Gian, CEO of PacketZoom, has joined the DEVOPSdigest Vendor Forum.

Gian serves as PacketZoom Chief Executive Officer since June 2016. He has 20 years of experience in the technology space with 12 years heavily focused on mobile measurement and performance solutions.

Gian joined PacketZoom after spending four years at Akamai where he co-founded the Emerging Mobile Business Unit and served as the Head of Mobile Market Development. Prior to Akamai, he was the GM of Mobile Solutions at Cotendo before it was acquired by Akamai. Prior to Cotendo, he served as the GM of Mobile services at Keynote Systems. Prior to Keynote, Gian served as the GM of DeviceAnywhere which evangelized the real device based mobile testing and monitoring market and was acquired by Keynote Systems in 2012. He holds an B.S. degree in Computer Science from Tel Aviv Academic College and MBA degree from the University of San Francisco.

PacketZoom redefines mobile performance via in-app networking technology, customized for each user. By removing roadblocks in the mobile last mile, PacketZoom Mobile Expresslane is able to accelerate performance by 2x to 3x, rescue up to 90% of the sessions from TCP connection drops and significantly reduce CDN costs.
