Quali CMO Joins the Vendor Forum

Shashi Kiran, CMO of Quali, has joined the DEVOPSdigest Vendor Forum.

Kiran joined Quali in June 2016 to serve as its Chief Marketing Officer and he brings a wealth of marketing, technology and business experience in a career spanning 20+ years. Previously, he was head of worldwide marketing at Cisco responsible for its multi-billion-dollar data center and cloud networking portfolio. He spearheaded the launch and scaling of key initiatives including Cisco ACI, Intercloud Fabric and aspects of UCS integrated infrastructure. During his nine years he was marketing leader for its ~$14 billion switching portfolio, enterprise routing, WAN optimization and data center security - targeting a majority of the Fortune 500 and scaling to tens of thousands of global enterprise and service provider customers.

Prior to Cisco he was a PLM leader at Shasta/ Nortel and startup Euclid (acquired by e4e). He began his marketing career at the Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), a Dept. of Electronics initiative for HPCC solutions. Kiran was most recently the CMO at Appcito, a March Capital funded Silicon Valley startup till its acquisition by a publicly traded company. He is currently an advisor to the Fabric - an early stage Silicon Valley venture firm co-creating next-generation infrastructure startups.

Kiran holds a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering and an MBA in marketing from India with executive education leadership stints at Harvard and Stanford Universities. He is a frequent speaker at industry events, avid blogger and an active CISSP professional.
