Graf is a long-time leader in the Linux kernel networking community at both Red Hat and Cisco. As Architect and Technical Lead for the core networking kernel team at Red Hat, he led the team integrating Open vSwitch into Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). As a Kernel developer, he developed a number of key Linux kernel functionalities that improved scale and performance. He founded the Cilium project after recognizing the incredible potential of eBPF to revolutionize all aspects of Linux networking and security.
The eBPF Foundation was founded to bring together a cross-platform community of eBPF-related projects from across the open source ecosystem in an independent forum. The Foundation is supported by members who work collaboratively on a common technical vision, vocabulary, security best practices, and general roadmap, to be applied within separate workstreams, operating system kernels, and enterprise communities.
