Joe McCann, Co-founder and CEO of NodeSource, has joined the DEVOPSdigest Vendor Forum.

McCann is a self-taught hacker, programmer and designer with more than 16 years of web, mobile and software development experience. As a former trader on Wall Street, McCann recognized the pattern early on that Node.js would be a truly transformational technology. Since the project's inception in late 2009, McCann has been involved in the open source project's success. Most recently McCann decided to laser his focus on the enterprise use cases not being addressed by the open source community, and thus NodeSource was born. Prior to NodeSource, McCann was the CTO of the award-winning ad agency, Mother. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy with a focus in Logic.

NodeSource is a technology company dedicated to delivering enterprise-grade solutions in support of a sustainable ecosystem for the open source Node.js project. The company aims to drive and expand the Node.js ecosystem by providing best-of-breed solutions that specifically target the needs of businesses deploying Node.js.
