Dion Picco, VP of Product Management for Progress, has joined the DEVOPSdigest Vendor Forum.
Picco is VP of Product Management for Progress Core products. In this role, he combines his domain expertise with his analytical capabilities to make sure Progress products serve the needs of Progress customers and ensure that the voice of the customer is thoughtfully considered throughout product development. Picco was formerly the GM of the Progress data connectivity business. Prior to joining Progress, Picco was the founder of Binary Dawn Interactive, a startup that specialized in 3D visualization and gaming. He was also a Software Engineer and Product Manager at IONA Technologies. Across all of these different roles, Picco has devoted his career to building great platform, middleware and integration solutions. His wealth of experience in the technology and software space, his entrepreneurial spirit and his undying love for product strategy make him a crucial asset to the Progress team. Picco studied Computer Science at the Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada.
