Appfire Acquires Turbo Kit
March 04, 2020

Atlassian app creator Appfire is continuing to expand its product portfolio with the recent purchase of Turbo Kit, an app for Jira created by fellow technology company Praecipio Consulting.

Appfire announced that the recent product acquisition will add to its Bob Swift brand of products, which offers specialized solutions in automation, business intelligence, workflow enhancement and more.

Praecipio Consulting created Turbo Kit to help teams streamline processes and maximize productivity in Jira, according to Praecipio Consulting Partner Christopher Pepe.

“Turbo Kit is a culmination of 10 years of consulting best practices packaged into a set of essential features to help teams ‘turbocharge’ Jira,” Pepe said.

“This app is highly versatile and gives teams a lot of power to automate different aspects of their work in Jira,” Appfire Vice President of Research and Development Jeff Pierce said. “This acquisition allows us to continue to offer a quality product to current Turbo Kit users while introducing the app’s powerful features to our other app customers.”

As Jira continues to lead the market as the go-to tool for teams around the world, the ability to work better, faster and more efficiently will be indispensable for enterprise companies, Pierce added.

“At Bob Swift, we’ve been leaders in automation for the Atlassian ecosystem since it first began. So we’re excited to continue leading the charge in offering exceptional products that improve the work-life of people everywhere,” Appfire Director of Marketing Holly Wright said.
