Perforce Releases Helix ALM 2018.4
January 08, 2019

Perforce Software announced the release of Helix ALM 2018.4 (formerly TestTrack).

Helix ALM is an end-to-end application lifecycle management tool that allows teams to innovate faster and ship confidently. One of its modules, Helix Test Case Management (TCM), ensures safety, security, and quality with full traceability throughout the testing process.

New test suites now make test planning and execution even easier – and progress bars provide an instant overview of their status. With one click, busy teams know which test runs have passed, failed, are in progress, or have not yet started.

“If you use Helix TCM to manage your testing, you’re going to love using the new test suites,” said Paula Rome, Senior Product Manager, Perforce.

And with full Jira integration, tests can sync with Jira issues. Reduce work and improve your test coverage – all in one place.

For heightened security, folders now lock to prevent unintended changes. Additionally, users and customers can now be added to multiple security groups, providing more flexibility when managing security for large teams. And for enhanced usability, all your watched items can now be managed in one place with one click.

“This is an exciting release. You’ll find lots of popularly requested usability and productivity enhancements that improve the entire team’s day-to-day experience,” said Rome.
