CloudBees announced a new partner offering, DevOps Managed Services, a solution delivered by select Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and powered by CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise.
This partnership is a powerful option for enterprises wanting to accelerate their DevOps transformation and have their software delivery foundation managed by experienced MSPs leveraging a public cloud infrastructure and CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise.
The new program enables enterprises to select premium Managed Service Providers certified by CloudBees. In order to provide CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise as a managed service, MSPs must demonstrate experience with a managed services delivery model as well as infrastructure managed services, specifically. They must also provide extensive experience and skills in CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise and in the broader DevOps domain.
As organizations face a steady stream of demands from the line of business for new features and updates, they are feeling more and more pressure to transform to DevOps in order to better support their businesses. In many cases, they need assistance in managing maintenance, uptime, security, updates and more. In contracting for DevOps Managed Services, organizations can now focus 100 percent of their resources on developing software and driving innovation to market. They don’t expend time, effort and expense associated with the upkeep, maintenance and management of the entire software delivery environment.
The initial partners include:
- CloudHesive
- Digital OnUs
- iTMethods
- Microland
- TriNimbus Technologies
As part of the program, CloudBees offers its technical expertise and 24x7 support to premium MSPs. The MSPs, in turn, will add operational management of the infrastructure – hardware, systems, networks, security, data as well as CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise operations. Additional add-on services include administration, user management, DevOps/pipeline consulting and application development and/or maintenance.
“Enterprises want to embrace the business benefits of DevOps quickly and are looking to accelerate software delivery without taking on more and more maintenance responsibilities, internally,” said François Déchery, VP of Customer Success and Co-Founder of CloudBees. “With DevOps Managed Services, organizations can have peace of mind in knowing that their CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise environment is backed by CloudBees expertise and managed and supported by premium Managed Service Providers, enabling customers to focus on developing great software and meeting the business demands of their organization.”
