Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. announced new Infinity Platform capabilities to accelerate zero trust, strengthen threat prevention, reduce complexity, and simplify security operations.
EasyVista rolled out a new release of its platform focused on Service Apps, the company’s interface for IT professionals to build IT apps and portals using codeless configuration.
This new version offers a number of enhancements to help companies quickly detect and resolve the root cause of service issues and accelerate the creation of service apps — both of which ensure faster service delivery for end users.
“As technology makes its way across the enterprise, the opportunity for IT problems to trigger service management issues grows exponentially,” said Jamal Labed, COO, EasyVista. “With these newest capabilities, our customers experiencing this trend can now galvanize their teams and more rapidly discover and resolve issues before the business impact occurs. This will streamline, integrate and enhance their mobile operations providing a superior service experience.”
Service management can be impacted by all kinds of IT operations issues — from obvious problems such as a faulty server and poor network performance to less discernible challenges such as small spikes in performance that would otherwise go undetected. With these new capabilities, EasyVista is seeing early customers cut issue detection and resolution times and accelerate app creation cycles considerably.
“IT organizations are looking for faster ways to create and manage services, and to drive down the costs of doing so,” said Chris Marsh, Research Director with 451 Research. “By creating a tighter partnership between IT development and operations teams, EasyVista creates an environment that is more conducive to extending the kind of service employees and other end users expect and deserve.”
The latest release supports the migration to a DevOps culture within the IT organization.
Enhancements include the following:
- New connectors link EasyVista to leading IT operations and development solutions so service issues can quickly be traced to their root causes. Connectors are available for:
Splunk (Real-time IT operational intelligence)
Trello (Project and task management)
FreshDesk (Customer support)
BugZilla (Software bug-tracking system)
- New data sharing capabilities provide seamless access to critical IT systems from directly within EasyVista, facilitating rapid trouble-shooting.
- New template builder enables IT developers to create new service apps by cloning and modifying existing widgets, reducing the time it takes to launch an app and making it easier for line of business owners to build their own vertical apps.
- New rest-based integration builders create custom integrations between EasyVista and other critical applications so companies can bring service management capabilities together with other systems that have the potential to impact service delivery.
