Appvance Names New VP of Customer Experience

Appvance announced that Harry Manley is the new VP of Customer Experience.

In this role he will work closely with customers to ensure they are maximizing their investment in Appvance UTP, the most comprehensive DevOps-driven software test automation platform in the industry.

Manley will focus on the entire customer experience, from the first call with the sales team to day-to-day support, to ensure customers’ overall experience and expectations are met. Manley will also be responsible for the customer on-boarding phase, providing training services and support to users of Appvance UTP.

“Customer success is an absolutely vital component of what we do at Appvance, and we needed someone who understood that and could contribute to it on a daily basis,” said Appvance CEO Kevin Surace. “With Harry’s deep industry knowledge and proven record of success, we knew we had the right person to drive our customer experience strategy, and keep a close ear to what the customer wants.”

“Appvance UTP completely transforms QA for DevOps, so it is essential that we help our customers shift left and change the way they think about software QA automation,” said Manley. “By setting the stage for success early, we will accelerate the user adoption rate and ensure satisfaction with Appvance UTP.”

Manley brings more than 20 years of experience into the new role having managed global technical teams, and with a background in large-scale, high performance distributed systems, ongoing technical support, and as a software and systems architect. Notable past work prior to Appvance includes, serving as head of technical operations at RetailNext, solutions and OEM software engineering manager at Micromuse and technical solutions architect at Mibtree in the U.K. He also ran his own specialized consultancy business for almost 10 years, working with HP, EDS, Fujitsu, QinetiQ, BAE Systems, Selex ES and Capita.
