SmartBear Software released SwaggerHub integrations for the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
Now within the SwaggerHub SaaS application, API designers can instantly deploy their Swagger/Open API Definitions directly to Microsoft Azure API Management, a fully managed service that makes it easy for developers to create, publish, maintain, monitor and secure APIs at any scale. SwaggerHub is the place for development teams to collaborate and coordinate the entire lifecycle of an API.
“Microsoft Azure is becoming increasingly popular for deploying APIs for both internal and external usage,” said Tony Tam, VP of Products, Swagger. “SwaggerHub allows the API definition to drive the API integration directly from the SwaggerHub application so that the design and deployment are always in sync. The SwaggerHub integration provides an efficient way to keep Microsoft Azure up-to-date with your API intent.”
The Microsoft Azure connection is available from SwaggerHub’s flexible integrations infrastructure. For each API version, a connection can be made directly to Microsoft Azure API Management so that updates to the API definition are pushed on each save of the definition.
“The Microsoft Azure tools, pre-built templates and managed services help developers and IT professionals build and integrate applications faster,” said Jim Harrer, Principal Group Program Manager, Integration Strategy, at Microsoft Corp. “We’re pleased that SwaggerHub and its customers can benefit from easier integration scenarios with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.”
SwaggerHub integration for Microsoft Azure is available now on SwaggerHub for free.
