January 06, 2016

Nastel Technologies has been recognized and positioned by Gartner in the December 2015 “Magic Quadrant for Application Performance Monitoring Suites” report by Cameron Haight, Will Cappelli, and Federico De Silva.

According to Gartner, the market grew by 15.8% in 2014, the highest growth rate within the IT operations management market. In terms of market size, APM accounted for $2.6 billion in 2014. Additionally, Gartner expects that by 2020, 60% of APM buyers will reside outside of IT operations organizations, up from less than 35% today.

Gartner noted that Nastel, a profitable company focused on the financial services, healthcare and retail sectors has provided AutoPilot an enterprise-focused middleware-centric APM solution for over 20 years.

Also recognized was Nastel’s ability to scale using its internally developed Complex Event Processing (CEP) engine. Nastel’s high scalability enables it to provide tracking and analysis solutions for high volume business transaction loads.

“We are thrilled to be positively mentioned in the 2015 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Application Performance Monitoring Suites report,“ said David Mavashev, CEO and founder of Nastel Technologies. “Nastel has had an important year growing its customer base and enhancing its APM offering with additional capabilities, including: a new release of its Transaction Tracking software with improved role-based security and handling of incomplete transactions. Nastel is also providing enriched support for IBM messaging products, such as Integration Bus, Managed File Transfer and the MQ Appliance. Nastel released jKool, a SaaS or on-premises solution providing application analytics for DevOps. jKool is built on the latest cloud technologies including Apache Spark, STORM and Kafka.“

Recently, jKool announced its new data collector ecosystem designed to bring application analytics to a greater audience of users. Organizations can use these collectors to find and fix problems faster, deliver releases sooner and be more proactive in their application support. Using jKool, these organizations can spend less time fixing problems and more time delivering a great user experience to their customers. The growing set of collectors now includes support for Logstash, Apache Flume, HDFS, Apache Kafka, JMS, Servlets, Web Logs, JMX, Garbage Collection, Java Logs, Syslog, Apache Spark and many more.

Nastel's application analytics provides immediate value to DevOps and IT Ops professionals who need to find and fix problems faster, deliver releases sooner and deliver the most delightful user experiences to their customers.
