Parasoft earned a top spot as a Leader and Fast Mover in the latest GigaOm Radar Report on API Functional Automated Testing.
MODAClouds, funded by the European Commissions’ FP7 Cooperation in ICT program, has concluded with the release of MODAClouds DevOps Toolbox for Multi-Clouds.
The Toolbox includes solutions that help DevOps identify the right clouds for their applications based on business considerations, supports users in defining the architecture of their application, its Quality of Service (QoS) requirements and any technological constraint and supports execution, monitoring, SLA management, and automatic and intelligent runtime reconfiguration of the application. These are available for testing via three public demonstrator tools at MultiCloudDevOps.com.
Craig Sheridan, Head of Research Projects, Flexiant said, “During the duration of the MODAClouds project, we used our lean startup approach towards feature integration into our Flexiant Concerto product. The outcome of the research project is to deliver solution demonstrators that companies can review as they seek to develop new technologies.”
For those companies interested in commercially viable multi-cloud solutions already available in the market, Flexiant Concerto is available today. It enables DevOps to build, deploy, configure, run, publish, monitor, load balance and auto-scale applications straight to the cloud or multiple clouds of their choice.”
Launched as a result of the research project, the MultiClouds Alliance was established to promote and evolve technologies focused on multi-clouds, DevOps and business-driven QoS. The MODAClouds Alliance seeks new members to join. Membership is open to any organization willing to participate, as members or associates, in the promotion and the development of the future of technologies for multi-cloud scenarios.
The initiative is supported by companies such as CA, ATOS, Politecnico Di Milano and other members of the consortium with relevance in the European academic and industry areas.
Marco Comastri, President of EMEA at CA Technologies said, “MODAClouds is further illustration of our commitment to help customers deploy, measure and ease the use of their cloud services. We are proud to engage on this European project with prestigious partners and with the support of the European Commission.”
