Rollout, a new Mobile DevOps company providing real-time app control for mobile developers, debuted at TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2015 in September.
With Rollout’s SDK, mobile developers can easily and quickly debug, measure, control and fix live apps in real time.
The company’s SDK enables allows mobile developers to easily and quickly debug, control and fix live apps in real time, which greatly shortens the app deployment cycle. The ability to push bug fixes in real-time, minimizes and prevents negative user experience, bad app store reviews, app uninstalls and lost revenue. Rollout’s SDK can be installed in minutes and does not require modifying existing app code nor does it have any performance penalty. To date, more than 1,700 developers use Rollout in more than 100 apps, running on more than 10 million devices. Companies using Rollout include, Intuit, Badoo, ask.fm, Glow, and GrabTaxi, among many others.
Rollout CEO and Co-founder, Erez Rusovsky said: “Our solution is truly game changing and addresses the critical needs of mobile developers to control their live apps on a code level basis and in real-time.”
Rollout has completed a Series A round of financing to further develop and commercialize the company's SDK. The Series A funds will be used to develop additional product features such as launch Android support for the SDK and execute on the company's go-to-market strategy. Rollout is also expanding its presence to the US, and has hired NY-based Ophir Prusak as its VP of Marketing.
The $2 million investment was led by Canaan Partners Israel (CPI) and included participation by existing investors Plus Ventures, 2B Angels and Star Farm Ventures. Izhar Shay, Canaan Partners Israel's Managing General Partner, will join Rollout as a new board member.
