Progress announced new powerful capabilities and enhancements in the latest release of Progress® Sitefinity®.
Eggplant announced the latest release of Eggplant Performance, which gives enterprise teams the opportunity to reap the business benefits of performance testing, without the need for in-house skills.
With Eggplant Performance, organizations can run "one click" performance testing, without relying on highly experienced specialists. Using it alongside an Eggplant AI test model, anyone can execute performance tests quickly and easily. Eggplant’s technology then creates a large number of users in the cloud, executes paths based on the model, records page load speeds, and develops a comprehensive performance report.
Eggplant has also added capabilities to Real Customer Insights (RCI), which now includes a chart that illustrates the optimum page load speed for maximum conversions and minimum bounces.
RCI is now able to pinpoint where site performance currently fails different groups of visitors and provides enhanced alerts and notifications that highlight which parts of the website are negatively impacting conversions. Eggplant RCI works alongside Eggplant Performance to gather data to provide businesses with focused user information in order to deliver better user and business outcomes.
To help organizations understand the performance of their online estate, Eggplant has also released Agent 10 in Monitoring Insights. Agent 10 provides deep insight into what is happening on the client-side as well as the server-side to give a complete understanding of the customer experience.
"Today performance testing is a dark art, reserved for highly experienced specialists. However, Eggplant is working to democratize testing. With Eggplant’s advances in performance testing and customer insights, organizations around the world can better understand user and customer experiences, bringing higher conversion rates without the need for specialist skills," said Antony Edwards, COO, Eggplant.
