With 15+ years of experience in the technology industry — spanning hardware, software, cloud, cybersecurity, dev tools and DevOps — Brinkman’s expansive industry knowledge has enabled him to build and lead high-performing teams to carry out the product vision. In his current role, Brinkman is focused on leading product strategy, scaling product growth and advancing Cobalt’s PtaaS category leadership. Prior to joining Cobalt, he served in product leadership roles at GitLab, Rackspace, and Hostway where he oversaw key initiatives in cybersecurity, developer tooling, Microsoft Azure, AWS, DevOps and digital/ecommerce platforms. Brinkman holds a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
