January 05, 2017

CloudBees announced the appointment of Anthony Palladino as SVP of Worldwide Sales and Field Operations.

Palladino has more than 20 years of experience in sales management roles at technology companies such as BladeLogic, Hewlett Packard and BMC Software. Most recently, Palladino was VP, Americas, at Splunk.

Palladino joins CloudBees to extend the company’s field execution, accelerate growth and ensure high value delivery for customers. With well over 100,000 active Jenkins installations today, Palladino will lead the sales teams in extending the CloudBees Jenkins Platform to new customers, verticals and geographies.

Palladino’s proven track record to drive business transformation and growth while building experienced, high-performing, results-driven teams matches CloudBees’ accelerated growth path in the enterprise Jenkins and DevOps market. During his five years at Splunk, he led a sales team that produced results of over 50 percent year-over-year growth and achieved 93 percent customer retention. Palladino was an instrumental part of the company’s $230 million IPO, drove strong, consistent growth throughout his tenure and successfully partnered with customers to drive expansion of usage and help them achieve exceptional ROI.

“We are excited to build on our 2016 momentum from Jenkins World and our launch of multiple CloudBees and Jenkins solutions. Our vision for the future will be strengthened by the addition of Anthony and we are thrilled to have him on board,” said Sacha Labourey, CEO and co-founder of CloudBees. “With his deep technology market experience and vast success in sales, operations and go-to-market planning, Anthony will accelerate CloudBees’ growth even further in the market by leading our sales strategy and teams.”

“This is an exceptional opportunity to join CloudBees, as we are the leaders in DevOps and continuous delivery,” said Palladino. “CloudBees is changing the way enterprises of all shapes and sizes deliver software and ultimately make the company faster, smarter, more customer centric. I’m looking forward to working with a talented executive team, engaging with an exceptional customer base and driving even more innovation.”
