AppViewX launched AUTOMATION+ to enable faster application delivery while ensuring compliance and enforcing governance in the process.
This product is targeted to network operation teams (NetOps) that are transforming to address new technology and process demands.
AppViewX’s AUTOMATION+ adds two new automation tools to the AppViewX Platform. Visual Workflow provides an intuitive and visual system for designing self-serviceable, event-driven, intelligent, and automated workflows. AppVision provides end-users a new and compelling topology view for managing application and network infrastructure services, as well as initiating role-based automated workflows.
“Agile, DevOps, IoT, cloud, and software-defined infrastructure require NetOps to deliver application and network infrastructure services faster than ever before,” said Manny Rivelo, CEO of AppViewX. “Today, the service requests performed by NetOps are complex, manual, and time consuming. With automation, NetOps can stay ahead of the curve and deliver services more efficiently.”
The key benefits of AUTOMATION+ allow NetOps to:
- Move faster by automating application and network infrastructure services
- Eliminate errors by removing manual steps in development and production
- Reduce Cost by taking out complexity and doing more with less
AUTOMATION+ includes a library of pre-built workflow elements and tasks as well as the ability to customize them. The product supports best-of-breed and open source services such as those provided by application delivery controllers, security devices, certificate authorities, DNS servers, routers/switches, and more. AUTOMATION+ also integrates with best-in-class IT service management solutions for governing and recording the service requests being executed in the automated workflow.
AUTOMATION+ is part of a suite of products in the AppViewX Platform. ADC+, CERT+, SSH+, and SECURITY+ also cater to an enterprise’s evolving management and automation needs.
