Getting the Most Out of Your APMdigest Sponsorship

Your DEVOPSdigest sponsorship offers you many opportunities to promote your company, products, webinars, white papers and just about everything else, beyond your ads on our site and in our bi-monthly emails.

If you currently sponsor DEVOPSdigest, check out these tips to make sure you are getting the most out of your sponsorship.

Change Your Ads

As a sponsor, you are allowed to change ads — either graphics, links or both — as often as you wish. You can change your ads several times per month, to promote upcoming webinars, new product releases, white papers, basically anything you want. To change your ad, simply email Pete Goldin.

Promote Your Webinars

As a DEVOPSdigest sponsor, you are able to promote your webinars in two ways. First, a direct link to your webinar can be posted on our Webinars page.

Second, this same link is also included in our Webinars box in the left column of every page on DEVOPSdigest.com.

Webinar links are taken down when the webinar is over, unless the Webinar is available on-demand. Then the link is displayed on the Webinars page and in the Webinars slideshow in the left column of every page for about a year. If you had a scheduled webinar that becomes an on-demand webinar, and then you reschedule that same webinar for a later date, let DEVOPSdigest know. We will add the new date to the webinar, and it will go back onto the list of Upcoming Webinars.

Gold Sponsors can post up to 8 total assets per month, including white papers and webinars. Silver Sponsors can post up to 4 total assets per month, including white papers and webinars.

Promote Your White Papers

Similar to webinars, you can also promote your white papers on the site and in the emails. A direct link to your white paper can be posted on our White Papers page. This same link is also included in our White Papers box in the left column of every page on DEVOPSdigest.com.

The link is displayed on the White Papers page and the White Papers slideshow on the left column of every page for about a year.

A direct link to your white paper can also be included in one of our bi-monthly mailings.

Gold Sponsors can post up to 8 total assets per month, including white papers and webinars. Silver Sponsors can post up to 4 total assets per month, including white papers and webinars.

Promote Your Free Tools

Your free tools and free product trials can be promoted with direct links on our Free Tools page.

Promote Anything via Vendor Forum Blogs

DEVOPSdigest sponsorship enables you to promote anything you like in the Vendor Forum. The body copy of the blog must be objective, non-promotional and vendor-neutral — see our Vendor Forum guidelines for more details about blog content requirements — but you can include links to anything you like at the end of the blog.

DEVOPSdigest recommends that you write a general blog on a topic that relates to the subject you want to promote, and then include the corresponding link to your promotional page at the end of the blog. Ideally you would submit at least one blog per month to take advantage of this extra exposure.

Only DEVOPSdigest sponsors can include promotional links at the end of their Vendor Forum blogs. While any company in DevOps-related markets is allowed to open one Vendor Forum blogging account at no cost, whether they sponsor DEVOPSdigest or not, companies that do not sponsor DEVOPSdigest can only include a link to their home page at the end of a blog. They are not allowed to include any other links.

So this is a unique opportunity for DEVOPSdigest sponsors to reach thousands of site visitors every month.

Use Graphics to Promote Anything via Vendor Forum Blogs

You can also use graphics as links at the end of your blogs, rather than text links. This is a great way to grab the reader's attention.

DEVOPSdigest includes your current ad at the end of the blog, to give your ad even more exposure. However, you can choose to use a previous ad in the blog, if it is still viable. You could even create special graphics for the links you want included at the end of your blog.

Simply send the graphic with the blog to the editor, similar to how you send a new ad graphic when you are changing your ad. If the ad has already posted on DEVOPSdigest, you do not need to send the graphic, since we already have it in the system. Just let us know which previous ad graphic you want to use and the corresponding URL.

Open Multiple Vendor Forum Blogging Accounts

As a sponsor of DEVOPSdigest, you are allowed multiple blogging accounts, so different voices and thought leaders in your company can be heard. Companies that do not sponsor DEVOPSdigest are only allowed one blogging account.

Thought Leadership is proven to have a positive impact on your business.

Post Your Press Releases on DEVOPSdigest

Only DEVOPSdigest sponsors can include related links with their press releases posted in our Industry News section. So send your press releases to Pete Goldin, if you are not already doing so.

Check out our PR Tips page to find out what type of news DEVOPSdigest covers.

Keep Your Links Current

Every click is a potential lead. Make sure DEVOPSdigest has your current URL links. For example, if DEVOPSdigest is using your DevOps landing page, and you change the URL for this page, inform DEVOPSdigest right away. We use links on our sponsor list, and with your logo in your blogs, for example. If your links change, please make sure DEVOPSdigest is aware.

Also, DEVOPSdigest recommends double-checking any links to your site from DEVOPSdigest, when they are first posted. Most importantly, check your ad links. In addition check links included at the end of a feature article, blog or news post from or about your company. Also check links included in DEVOPSdigest's White Papers, Webinars and Free Tools lists. DEVOPSdigest strives to ensure that links are good, but it is always prudent for the sponsor to double-check these links themselves.
